This blog is about my car, a Mercedes 280 SL from 1985.
I am not a professional mechanic but have had some old cars through the years which had to be repaired from time to time. There is always small things that can be done on an old car like this one so I've created this blog so that other people can see what I'm doing (or what I shouldn't have done).

Hi Peter, nice work you did with the Megasquirt. I am finishing the same project with a MS3X on a W114 280CE Coupe. I used the distributor signal for a full sequential set-up and the engine is running now. Now I want to tune it a little better. What ignition table you used, any new screen-shot from cold start enritchment or AFR?
Hi Peter, Great posts! I've seen your engine from some of your posts in Benzworld. I have an 83 280sl with 40k that I'm trying to get running, would you be able to send a photo of one of the stickers from your engine compartment? it's the white one on the radiator support that has information regarding the CO volume/emissions stuff. (I'm in California and they want to know that kind of stuff to register:) kjeld.aamodt@gmail.com Thank you in advance for your help!
