MB Tex seat repaired

The entire bottom of the MB-Tex cover was torn so I glued on a new piece of cloth to protect it from the Horshair-pad. Now I had to sew each stitch to keep the padding and ribbons stay in place...Took a couple of hours but at least the seat is finished now. Only waiting for the "hog-rings" I ordered so I can attatch the seat cover to the seats backbone. As soon as the seat is finished I will start with the back.
The seat to the left and it was more worn than the back piece to the right.

Started to sew using two needles, one fom each side.. Gives strong stitches ,same as from a sewing machine
Time consuming but easy since I use the old holes...
The middle stitches finished...
Finish, sparyed some glue over the stitches to fixate them.
All ribbons in place.

  1. Nice work of yours! I am wanting to rebuild my driver seat similarly, but I will put a lot more cushion on it. I suffer from my back.
