Removed the old ignition system except for the distributer(will be removed when I see that this triggerwheel-adapter construction works). The old ignition can be remounted in about 30 min, it's importent that I can restore everything to original if necassery.
Haven't adjusted the lenght of the cables and wires yet since I have the fuel swap left so it looks a little messy rigth now but it will be better as soon as I built the cables and connctors for the fuel injectors.

Hi Bjørn,
ReplyDeleteI have a few questions.
Can you supply a triggerwheel adapter like the one you are using ?
Where did you mount the lamda sensor ? I saw your picture, but could not locate where it is on the car. In my car there are two separate pipes from cylinder 1-3 and 4-6. There is no lambda sensor in the car now. Where should I mount it ?

Sorry, I ment Peter !
ReplyDeleteI can't supply you with an adaptor but I have a picture of the cad-drawing which you can use to to manufacture one.
ReplyDeleteOn my car the lambda sensor was mounted where the two pipes from each manifold met.
But the Lambda sensor can be mounted directly on one of the exhaust manifold, we have done that on other 280 MB’s without any problem, even if you only mesure half the exhausts.
Thank you for your answer. Would you reccomend to mount the Lambda sensor on the manifold or on the pibe after the manifold.
DeleteI would really appreciate a picture of the cad-drawing. Super if you could e-mail it to Aresjoflot@gmail.com.
